Miss Piggy is the perfect combination of sweet and salty.  So is this candied bacon which is great on salads or cut in chunks to serve with drinks.  A plate of scrambled eggs, candied bacon and buttered toast make a perfect weekend breakfast or a weeknight supper.

    Directions

    Line a sheet pan with foil. Place a rack on top of that, and lay the bacon on top of the rack. This makes for easy clean-up. Pre-heat oven to 350 or 375 degrees.

    Step 1

    Sprinkle brown sugar lightly down the length of the bacon.

    Step 2

    Bake bacon for 20 to 30 minutes. Keep an eye on it and remove when it is bubbling. Loosen from the rack with your tongs. The bacon will crisp up as it cools.
